Pursuing A Dream Corporation (PADC) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on education and community development. The organization’s mission is to foster programs that promote awareness of minorities underrepresented in various STEM disciplines and careers.
Volunteer opportunities are a way of allowing people to gain an understanding of our mission while providing meaningful service to their community. Since our organization does not have an established workforce, volunteering aids in staffing key positions that will further our cause. Volunteers are not paid for their time or commitment but service is appreciated.
Often the organization identifies positions for special events or long term projects. As previously stated these jobs enable us to meet a goal or satisfy a need. The organization does not provide any training therefore individuals that identify a proficiency or mastery will be evaluated for selection.
PADC seeks volunteers in the following areas:
- Audio/visual technician
- Marketing
- Graphic design
- Outreach and community development
- Youth Advisors
- Grantwriters
